統合的な子ども教育
日本においても、子どもから大人まで、英語で自在にコミュニケートする必要性が現実のものになってきました。スマートキッズの使命は、生徒たちを広い視野・自信・責任感・創造性・主体的思考をもった「話して書ける」バイリンガルへと育てることです。
スマートキッズの指導法は、生徒中心、フレンドリーでモダン、そして専門的です。基本となる「クリエイティブ・カリキュラム Creative Curriculum®」はアメリカの子どものための統合的な教育・言語学プログラムです。
スマートキッズでは、生徒・保護者と先生との関係を何より大切に、10カ月から12歳までの子どもたちに、楽しく、魅力的な英語の授業を提供しています。また、ご要望により父兄向けクラスもご用意しています。
子どもたちはたくさんの教材の中で探求・発見し、基礎英語力を身につけます。
さらに小学生になると、様々な話題を楽しく、レベルに合わせ、質問形式で読み書きすることを学んでいきます。

ヨーロッパやアフリカの有事で学校を失った子ども達の教育にボランティアとして携わってきました。日本でも長い教育経験を持ち、あらゆる年代の子ども達の教育と指導に熱意を持っています。
Welcome to Smart Kids!
Smart Kids is an English language classroom, located in Nukuikitamachi, Koganei city and a few minutes walk from the Kitatamachi Police Box bus stop. To get there, please board the Keio bus no. 31 from Musashi-Koganei Station North Exit.
Teaching the whole child
The need to be fluent and communicate well in English has become a reality for students and adults in Japan. Our school’s mission is to nurture our students into open-minded, confident, responsible, creative, independently thinking, bilingual English speakers and writers.
Our school’s approach to teaching and learning is student-centered, friendly, modern and professional. It is based on the Creative Curriculum® from Teaching Strategies, an American holistic educational and linguistic program designed for children.
We value most importantly the relationships between students, families and teachers. We provide fun and interesting language classes to young children from 10 months to 12 years old and on-demand classes to their older siblings and parents.
At Smart Kids, younger children acquire English skills primarily through discovery and exploring of our many learning materials. In addition of that, elementary school children learn to speak and write in English about different topics through fun, level-appropriate, inquiry-based school projects.

We acknowledge we all live in a more connected, global society. So we encourage our students, not only to acquire vocabulary and grammar skills, but also to develop communicative and collaborative skills for them to relate better their learning to the 21st century world we live in.
